In the spirit of I've got some awesome weddings to share with you, world, I give you Jen and Jeff!
We spent what was possibly the rainiest Saturday in September at Truro Vineyards on the cape. Not that you would know that the plans for the entire day had to be reworked for the rain--Jen and Jeff were so happy, so excited, that even torrential rains couldn't dampen their spirits!
The ceremony, so very beautiful, was moved from the beach to the vineyard, and we had a break in the rain just afterward--enough to dash around the grounds and take some photos, which was SO awesome. The fine folks at the vineyard let us into the barrel room...wish I could have access to that at every wedding!
They were the only wedding this summer to have what I would consider to be the BEST MEAL EVER. A true New England clambake....lobster, steamers, corn on the cob. And forget a wedding cake...it was ice cream sundaes for dessert! And just when you thought it couldn't get better...there were sparklers. Love love love it.
Thank you, Jen and Jeff...you guys really know how to throw a party, and we were honored to be a part of it!!
Enjoy the peek!
Jen really stayed true to her own personal style, both with her amazing dress, and this non-traditional, and EXQUISITE veil. Nicely done, Jen!
My winners of "best bouttonierres" for 2009, hands down.
Hello, gorgeous bride.
Too bad that these guys don't have any fun at all.
This is one of those moments that happens at EVERY wedding...the formals are over, and the reception site brings out some snacks for the bridal party. A group of people who have been nervous, excited, full of butterflies for the entire day so far...and they are finally relaxed, and FAMISHED. I love that I got to catch that here!
Lobstah! Wicked awesome!!
